The rules for the Monroe Monthly Recipe Contest. Please read them before you enter.
1. Who Can Enter
The contest is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States who are 18 or older when they enter. Employees of Monroe, their immediate families and anyone living in their households can’t enter.
2. No Purchase Necessary
You don’t have to buy anything to enter or win. Buying something won’t improve your chances. Void where prohibited.
3. How to Enter
Fill out the form on our Submit Your Recipe page with your recipe, a photo of the finished dish and your contact info. Your recipe must use at least one Monroe product.
4. Contest Period
Each contest runs for one calendar month, from 12:00 AM Central Time on the first day of the month to 11:59 PM Central Time on the last day. Entries that arrive after a month closes are entered in the next month’s contest.
5. Entry Limits
One entry per person per month. The recipe and photo must be your own original work and can’t have been published anywhere else. Entries that are incomplete, copied, offensive or sent by automated means will be disqualified.
6. How Winners Are Picked
The Monroe team judges every confirmed entry for taste appeal, creativity, how well it shows off Monroe products and the quality of the photo. We pick one winner within the first two weeks of the following month. Our decisions are final.
7. Prizes
Each month’s winner gets one Monroe variety pack and an assortment of Monroe merch. We choose the pack and merch items. Prizes can’t be exchanged for cash, transferred or substituted, except that we may swap in an item of equal or greater value if one is unavailable. The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize.
8. Winner Notification
We’ll email the winner at the address used to enter. If the winner doesn’t reply within 7 days, or the prize can’t be delivered, we may pick another winner from that month’s entries.
9. Where Prizes Can Ship
Prizes ship only to street addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. Perishable prizes ship on our regular Tuesday schedule, and the winner should be available to refrigerate them on arrival.
10. Using Your Recipe and Photo
By entering, you give Monroe permission to publish your recipe, photo, first name, last initial, city and state on our website, social media and marketing, without payment. We may edit recipes for length, clarity and food safety, such as adding cooking temperatures.
11. Privacy
We use the information you send only to run the contest and contact you about your entry. We don’t sell it. See our Privacy & Terms for details.
12. General Conditions
Monroe may cancel, suspend or change the contest if fraud, technical problems or anything else outside our control affects it. We aren’t responsible for entries that are lost, late or incomplete. By entering, you agree to these rules. The contest is sponsored by Monroe.
